Tidbits: Patience

I am so impatient… it is embarrassing actually. We have had these little baby mangos growing on our tree. Slowly, but surely. Well, I keep going to check them. Like everyday. I think I am just excited to finally eat them. And it is probably a lame example, but I was thinking about these little mangos....

Karyn - I know what you mean. It does take time. I just read a story today about the guy who created Draw Something and how it took him 6 years and 35 attempts and he was just about to quit..and then huge success. Not that that kind of growth is normal, but it's all that time beforehand when he didn't give up. I have days where I essentially have panic attacks that I'm not doing everything I need to do right now. Patience, with perseverance.

Heidi - Thanks for this great reminder today. I'm very impatient too and I need to remember to be grateful for the season that I am in rather than always looking forward to the next.

Tidbits: People

The longer I do this photography thing… the more I learn that photographing people is about people, not about photography. Great images of people to me evidence a strong human connection. It could be a mommy kissing their precious 1 week old baby. Or a couple so giddy and madly in love their eyes sparkle...
