Liberty Joy

It is always special for me when my former brides call me up a few years later to photograph their newborn babies.

I almost feel like I become their “life” photographer. Is that cheesy? I don’t know… there is just something so special about preserving people’s important moments in life. And to be able to capture them from dating, wedding, and now their growing family, it is such an honor!

So Larry and Mercedes welcomed little Liberty Joy two weeks ago. And boy is she beautiful!

And some mama time. Mercedes.. I can already tell you will be an awesome mommy.

Mercedes’ mom was there too.. so we talked her in to jumping in for a few shots. I loved this one. It must be pretty surreal to watch your baby holding her baby.

Grandma said it was her turn to hold the baby!

We went back inside and tried to get little Liberty to sleep. She was a little stubborn one though No worries. I snagged some cute ones of her nursery in the meantime.. and then we just took a few shots of her awake (and I love them).
